Name Brand Paint V. Generic Paint

As you guys know Im painting my 77 TA Black.
and I just thought you guy would like to see the quality in the types of paints. paint isnt the area to skimp out on.
now I am using a cheaper generic black as the first coat to help save on the cost of a full gal. of name brand paint.
and thats fine, just be sure its covered well by the next coat or two.
this is a base coat/clear 2 step


here is the generic base coat. there is no shine at all.




and here is a good name brand paint. there is no clear on it yet.
