I was at a car show Sunday and a guy showed up with a TA he's selling. It's a white hardtop with the W72 (TA/6.6) engine, a/c, and power windows. The exterior is in great shape with no rust or scratches and the red interior is perfect. The seller - Rich Lewis - said everything works on this car. The engine compartment could use some cleaning up but everything is there; the trunk looks good but could use a new trunk mat; this car even has the original exhaust system including the bedpan - sized catalytic convertor. The only thing Rich said he did to this car was replace the hood bird because the original was faded and cracked. This car is a true survivor that was never altered since day one; it looks just like my first one; and if I had the cash I would buy it myself. It is in Worcester MA and Rich's phone number is 508-754-1746. Here's a link to pics (they were taken after the original hood bird was removed; it now has a new one on it).

"What's a Texas county mountie doing in Arkansas?! Well let's see what he's got under the hood.
Bye, bye, baby!"
