The 1971 Trans Am is one of the last cars with the 455 HO that put out the big horsepower and torque numbers before Pontiac lowered the compression ratios and the horsepower ratings were changed to a net HP at the wheels.

Hey Rick...post up a few "before" photos when you bought the car in 1988...

I saw a few of them and never would have restored the car in that condition... I am glad you had the time, money and patience and restored it...

I like that Hurst Dual Gate shifter.
