This is the last Pontiac Show at Barbarino and will be loaded with cars.

I hope they have the show in the main lot and not like it was for the spring show.

LAST ONE???!!!! There won't be one next spring or fall?

We need to really try and pack it with Firebirds. Has anyone heard where they will have the shows next year? Or is that it?

Someone correct me if I am wrong. The way I understand it is the dealership is now owned by the two sons. One son is a real car guy and would have cruises all the time if he could and the other does not want anything to do with them at all. The son that loves them owns 49% of the business and the other son owns 51%. Figure out who will win out.
I believe they will be looking for someone to take the shows over but Pontiac guys are far and few now.
Lets hope someone steps up and keeps it going strong.

I heard from another Pontiac guy essentially what Harry just stated in the last post.

The son of the original owner who is now the CEO and General Manager no longer wants to host this show. Pontiac no longer exists and his dealership no longer has any loyalty to the brand - they sell only Nissans.

So unless you want to buy a Versa, Murano or an XTerrra, there is no marketing advantage for Pontiacs.

There was a rumor that that a dealership in Vernon CT called Scranton Motors might host the show. They still sell Cadillac, GMC and Buick.

Well it looks like I'll miss this one. Will be in VA for my Grandson's FIRST Birthday.
