1974 Trans Am 455 (hartford area)
A sought after muscle car. To the serious hobbyist up for sale a prime resto project with very good bones and not a rust bucket. I have owned this car since the 80's and its has been covered waiting quietly in a garage since then. The previous owner had intentions of doing a ground up resto on it. I have the phs doc and it's from down south. Its buccaneer red with black interior and a base L75 455 with ac, hood bird, rally wheels. The body is in good shape and its straight but has some rust in the lower quarters but the frame rails are excellent and the trunk and rear valance are also rust free as well as the wheel wells. It will need some work but its mostly there. The original engine is out and apart but it has a period correct 74 T/a 400 225 hp motor in it now that ran very good. The tranny is a rebuild switch pitch type th 400 from a 68 olds 442 which is pretty rare in itself. I don't need to sell and it wont hurt me to keep it another 20 plus years. It will come with some extra parts that you can sell also. you have to take it all. Im asking $ 5,500 firm in the current condition. Please serious people only . I will take phone calls only. Any emails or texts I will delete and I will not upload a 100 pics. if your serious call and you will have to come and see it. No low ball offers. I'm currently working on it so the closer it gets to being in road worthy shape the more I will ask for it. Thanks 860 290 8902 no calls after 10 pm
