84 T/A 301T
Howdy Gents,
For those of you that have already seen these pix, and heard this speech, I apologize.
Was curious if anyone else out there has an opinion, or is remotely interested. This car is to be my next "automotive" project. I use the quotations because unfortunately, I'm finishing other "non-automotive" related projects that have been in the way. I acquired this car from an older friend a couple yrs back, and the 301T has been buried in my garage for about 20 yrs. I'm "dying" to get started on it, ("almost" literally). These are the B4 pix, as you can guess. I've seen some third gens with the LS motors, and traditional V8s, but would like to build this the way Pontiac "could've, should've" done it.
I've gotten mixed emotions in the past over this undertaking, but am making it my quest. Hope to do more with it this year.

Re: 84 T/A 301T
I have a book around here somewhere that showed a prototype for an 82 Trans Am with a license plate that read Turbo. Pontiac was planning to continue the 301t in the third gen but the expense of certifying engines for ever increasing smog legislation caused the decision to move to the corporate engined cars. I think its a grwat idea to create one!

I hope you don't mind me picking your brain a little on these little 301 turbo motors Steve. Seeing I've never owned anything this "new", and you do.
