This winter I wanted to have T-tops installed in my red Trans Am. I know that you really have to have a good body man for that. Being the cheapskate that I am I am considering hiring the local fire department to do the work for me to save a couple of bucks. They did the convertible below. What do you guys think?

They did a great job Steve!

My oldest son is a Firefighter at PBFD and he recently converted his car to a convertible.

What do you think?

Thanks Rick. I'm just going to leave it as is except for decaling it "TURBO TRAN-Z28." I'm going to change my web site from Tran-zam to Tran-Z28.

Oh my God Steve, what happened to your car? Did it become a Transmaro?

I remember that someone on FBN has a car tag line on their thread:

"A Camaro Z-28 just looks like it can kick your ass, but a Trans Am will come over and finsh the job"

That's Harry's tag line, my all time favorite by the way: "A Z-28 looks like it can kick your ass. A Trans Am looks like it's coming over to do it." CLASSIC!!!

Martin, I agree, I like Z/28's. The only thing wrong with a Z/28 is that it is not a Trans Am.
